The Wake County Volleyball Club, in association with vh1vball.com and the Raleigh Knights of Columbus, will be hosting the 7th Annual Spike for a Cause charity volleyball tournament on Saturday, August 25th at the The Knights of Columbus Athletic Field.
The cost for this charity event is $25 per person, adult or junior, with all proceeds this year to be donated to the Curtis family. Susan Curtis is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy for breast cancer. Her husband Shawn is an avid volleyball player who's played in local leagues and tournaments for 20+ years, including previous SFAC events (more on the Curtis family).
USAV membership is NOT required, but all participants will be required to sign a waiver. For any other questions regarding the tournament, please contact Jeff Summers.
This year's Spike for a Cause tournament will offer three divisions with two levels each:
- Grass Traditional 4-on-4: Advanced and Recreational Levels
- Grass Reverse Co-ed 4-on-4: Advanced and Recreational Levels
- Sand Co-ed 4-on-4: Advanced and Recreational Levels
Please come out for a fun day of volleyball or make a tax-deductible donation today!
Raleigh Knights of Columbus Council 2546 will be handling donations for the Curtis family.
